The process flow of high-strength polypropylene industrial yarn!
The production process of high-strength polypropylene industrial yarn mainly includes the following steps:
1、 Raw material preparation
Select high-quality polypropylene resin as raw material. Polypropylene resin should have high purity, suitable molecular weight distribution, and good spinnability. Dry the raw materials to remove moisture and ensure smooth spinning process.
2、 Melt spinning

Add the dried polypropylene resin into a screw extruder, and melt the polypropylene resin into a uniform melt through heating and the extrusion effect of the screw.
Control the temperature and pressure of the extruder to ensure stable quality of the melt. Generally speaking, the temperature of the extruder is between 200 ℃ and 250 ℃, and the pressure is between 10-20MPa.
filter
The melt passes through the filter to remove impurities and gel particles, so as to improve the quality of the fiber. The accuracy of the filter is generally between 20-50 μ m.
metering
By accurately controlling the flow rate of the melt through a metering pump, the stability of the spinning process is ensured. The accuracy of the metering pump is generally within ± 1%.
Spinning thread
The melt is extruded through the nozzle holes on the spinneret to form a fine stream. The design and manufacturing of spinnerets have a significant impact on the quality and performance of fibers. The diameter of the spinning hole is generally between 0.2-0.5mm, and the number of holes depends on production capacity and fiber specifications.
3、 Cooling forming
Side blowing cooling
The fine stream extruded from the spinneret is rapidly cooled and formed under the action of the side blowing device. The temperature, wind speed, and humidity of the side blowing air have a significant impact on the quality and performance of the fibers. Generally speaking, the temperature of the side blowing air is between 15 ℃ -25 ℃, the wind speed is between 0.3-0.5m/s, and the relative humidity is between 60% -70%.
Oil on the oil agent
After cooling, the fibers are subjected to an oiling device and coated with a thin layer of oiling agent to improve their cohesiveness, smoothness, and anti-static properties. The type and concentration of oil should be selected according to the specifications and uses of the fibers.
4、 Stretching
Pre stretch
The oiled fibers enter the pre stretching device for preliminary stretching. The purpose of pre stretching is to improve the orientation and strength of fibers, preparing for subsequent high magnification stretching. The pre stretching ratio is generally between 2-3 times.
High magnification stretching
The pre stretched fibers enter the high magnification stretching device for high magnification stretching. The purpose of high magnification stretching is to further improve the strength and orientation of fibers, making them meet the requirements of high-strength polypropylene industrial yarn. The ratio of high stretch is generally between 5-8 times.
Heat setting
The stretched fibers enter the heat setting device for heat setting treatment. The purpose of heat setting is to eliminate internal stress in fibers, improve their dimensional stability and heat resistance. The temperature for heat setting is generally between 120 ℃ and 150 ℃, and the time is between 1-2 minutes.
5、 Winding up
Roll forming
After heat setting, the fibers pass through a guide wire device and enter a winding machine for winding and forming. The speed and tension of the winding machine should be adjusted according to the specifications and uses of the fibers to ensure the quality of fiber winding.
Inspect packaging
Inspect the high-strength polypropylene industrial yarn formed by winding and remove any non-conforming products. Qualified products are packaged for storage and transportation.
